Hey Hey @TheScienceGuy

I wish I had more time to write, but I gotta get to work...
Just a quick note... How do you answer someone you know is wrong?  And how do you connect with someone who is trying to convince you that you are wrong?  How do you take mistake, sin, or general, oopses, and make your time and money count better than before?  Yeah, needs more time to simmer.

So this person stated that Truth is verifiable. In some respects that is true; however, there are some things that can not be verified although they are true. For example, the color of Abraham Lincoln's cat might be noted in a letter written by his wife, but it is not necessarily verifiable. In scripture, we see that there were many witnesses to the resurrected Christ, yet there are many who deny that there is no resurrection, and no wonder; even when it happened there were those who denied the truth. I think our Lord put it best in John 14:6. He is the Truth. To the lost this is foolish. https://www.blueletterbible.org/kjv/1co/1/18/s_1063018
[[To the chief Musician, [A Psalm] of David.]] The fool hath said in his heart, [There is] no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, [there is] none that doeth good. Ps 14:1
They are blinded by the god of this world...

  2. What is a heretic?
According to wikipedia, which is not necessarily the best of accurate information, this term is not to be confused with an apostate. In general, I guess you could say he is one who refuses to believe the gospel.

According to Titus 3:10, we are not to spend much time trying to convince one of the error of his ways.

This and Mt 7:6 are why I have a few pre-written responses that I use instead of engaging in alot of debate...
