This article truly speaks for itself much better than anything I can add, but it follows the same line of thought which I have attempted to put forward previously. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I have. The briefest summary I can provide is:
The Bible is in the strictest sense not as concerned with the laws of nature as it is with the revelation of God to man including countless the  supernatural intervention of God; events commonly called miracles. Science deals strictly with the natural world, rejects God and the supernatural but draws supernatural conclusions with its assumptions of the origin of the universe which, quite frankly, take a a greater leap of faith to believe than the simple message given in the holy scriptures.
